Psychiatric Services

A Psychiatrist is a medical doctor (M.D.) physician who is specialized in prescribing medications for mood, anxiety, behavior, etc. A Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist is an M.D. who has sought and earned additional certification in the evaluation and treatment of children under 18. While not all clients will be in need of medication treatment, there are a number who can benefit from medications in combination with psychotherapy.
